BirdLife Malta and Bank of Valletta today held an event at Savio College, Dingli for heads of school, teachers and students of primary schools in Malta and Gozo during which the Dinja Wahda Environmental Programme for 2007/2008 was launched.

BirdLife Malta tour of Yelkouan Shearwater project site

Wildlife and nature lovers have the opportunity to visit a unique site on the island on Monday, September 24. BirdLife Malta will be offering a free guided tour around the area known as l-iRdum Tal Madonna (l-Ahrax tal-Mellieha) where the EU LIFE Yelkouan Shearwater Project is based.

BirdLife Malta invites public to nature reserves to celebrate World Wetlands Day

As part of World Wetlands Day, Birdlife Malta today invited the public to visit Ghadira and Is-Simar nature reserves during the weekend. BirdLife, together with their major education sponsor APS Bank, also organised educational tours for the students of De La Salle College to the Nature Reserves.
