Dinja Wahda is BirdLife’s commitment to environmental education. It is presented in an Action Guide through 30 green activities for primary schools. Every primary school class is given an Action Guide. Teachers are free to choose the activities they would like to carry out. The Guide describes each activity in easy-to-follow, step-by-step instructions and contains a number of appendices to provide background information. For each activity carried out, a school is awarded points. At the end of the year schools win a gold, silver, bronze or merit award. The range of activities covers different skills, interests and varying levels of teacher environment commitment. Bank of Valletta is BirdLife Malta's Education Partner for Dinja Wahda.
